There is no better way to learn regional anesthesia than to learn the anatomy.
This course will provide actual fresh tissue dissection of both the upper
and lower extremity. We have limited the number of participants to insure
quality access and unprecedented faculty participant ratio of 4 to 1. All
approaches will be explored including continuous techniques.
Following this course participants should be able to:
- Demonstrate a solid base of knowledge of the anatomy pertinent to the
performance of regional anesthesia blocks
- Identify and understand the relationship of the nerves and surrounding
tissue including muscles, veins, and bony structure
- Perform upper and lower peripheral nerve blocks
